Classes include access to trails on the same day so you can immediately practice what you learn. This on-site taco truck serves up fresh, bold-flavored tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and more to keep energy levels high and taste buds happy. Things To Know

General Policies

  • Weather and cancellations: No refunds for weather. If weather disrupts operations, WildSide issues a voucher valid for up to one year. For changes or cancellations, contact the team at least 24 hours in advance. Phone and email are listed on the FAQ.

  • Pets and service animals: Friendly, well behaved dogs are allowed at BaseCamp. ADA defined service animals are permitted in certain areas at BaseCamp. Pets and service animals are not permitted on UTV tours or on mountain biking trails. Notify staff at check in if you will be accompanied by a service animal. 

  • Food, drinks, coolers, firearms: You may bring food and non alcoholic drinks to BaseCamp. Small coolers are allowed at BaseCamp but not on tours or trails, and they cannot be left unattended. No outside alcohol. Firearms are not allowed. 

  • Ticket cutoff: Same day ticket sales end 2 hours before posted close. 

  • First aid: Trained staff are available at BaseCamp. If you need help on the trails, call the number provided on the FAQ or ask any WildSide employee. 

  • Discounts: 10 percent military discount and 20 percent discount for Sevier County residents. 

  • Minors: No minors may be on property without a supervising adult.

UTV Tours: What To Expect

  • Arrival and duration: Arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled tour. Tours run about 90 minutes. 

  • Driver rules: Drivers must be at least 18 with a valid driver license and able to sit and operate controls properly. You may switch drivers once during the tour if the second driver meets all requirements and shows a valid license before the tour begins. 

  • Passengers and vehicles: WildSide supplies all vehicles. Ride With a Guide tickets are available if you want to ride but not drive. Helmets and eye protection are required and provided. Restrooms are at BaseCamp only, not on tour. 

  • Weather and terrain: Tours operate rain or shine except during extreme weather such as high winds, lightning, or extreme cold. Expect mountainous, wooded dirt and mud trails. 

  • What to bring: Closed toe shoes are required. Dress for the weather. Eye protection is provided if you do not bring your own. A signed waiver is required and can be completed online. 

Mountain Biking: Trails, Rentals, Shuttle

  • Trail ratings and mileage: Trails are marked Beginner green, Intermediate blue, and Advanced black. There are about 8 miles of bike trails with more planned. Most trails are designed for downhill riding unless noted. 

  • Open year round and trail status: Trails are open year round. Hours may be limited in the off season. Check the Trail Status page for weather or event related changes. A bike shuttle is available with a pedal plus shuttle pass. 

  • Bikes and gear: You may bring your own bike if it has at least one form of suspension and 24 inch wheels. No throttle bikes and no adaptive bikes are allowed on the trails. Helmets are provided with rentals. Full face helmets and protective gear are available to rent at the WheelHouse. Kids rentals are available for riders over 49 inches tall. All rentals must be returned by posted closing. Riders are responsible for reported damages and can add optional insurance at checkout. 

  • Experience level: Trails are designed for riders from beginner to advanced. Some off pavement riding experience is recommended, and trails are identified so you can choose the right level. 

MegaZip: Requirements and Prep

  • Guest requirements: Ages 10 and up. Height 48 to 82 inches. Weight 50 to 260 pounds. Closed toe shoes required. A guardian must be present for guests under 18. 

  • Arrival and timing: Arrive at least 45 minutes before your flight. Plan about 1.5 to 2 hours from check in through touchdown, including safety orientation and practice. Complete the waiver online beforehand to speed up check in. Lockers are available at BaseCamp. 

  • The experience: Length about 5,771 feet, top speeds up to 55 mph, nearly 1,100 feet of elevation drop, and four side by side lines for racing friends. Operations may pause or reschedule during severe weather. All gear meets or exceeds industry standards and is inspected regularly. Harness, helmet, and trolley are provided.
