
Sojourn Lodging
Please read these terms carefully before completing your reservation. By booking with us, you agree to the policies outlined below.
Effective June 1, 2025
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as specified at the time of booking. Sojourn Lodging accepts major credit and debit cards. All rates are quoted in U.S. dollars and are subject to applicable taxes and fees.
A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in. The name on the reservation must match the ID presented. Failure to provide valid identification may result in refusal of accommodation without refund.
Sojourn Lodging reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit card prior to arrival. Final charges, including any applicable incidentals or fees incurred during your stay, will be processed upon check-out.
Individual (transient) reservations: Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Group reservations, retreat bookings & village buyouts: All group bookings are non-refundable. All payments are final upon booking.
No-shows: Guests who fail to arrive on their scheduled check-in date without prior notice will forfeit the full reservation amount.
Early departures: No refunds are issued for early departures once a stay has commenced.
We strongly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect against cancellations due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations must be submitted through your original booking channel or in writing to info@sojournlodging.com.
Check-in: After 4:00 PM local time. Sojourn uses self check-in with a smart lock — access instructions will be provided prior to arrival. Early check-in may be available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.
Check-out: Before 10:00 AM local time. Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee. Guests who have not vacated by check-out time may be charged an additional night's rate.

Sojourn's tiny homes are designed for an immersive nature experience in the Smoky Mountains. Guests agree to the following:
Violations of house rules may result in immediate removal from the property without refund.
Sojourn Lodging welcomes well-behaved pets. The following conditions apply to all stays with pets:
Sojourn Lodging reserves the right to refuse or remove pets that pose a nuisance or safety risk to other guests or the property.
Sojourn Lodging shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience to persons or property arising from: acts of God or nature (including but not limited to severe weather, flooding, or wildlife), circumstances beyond our reasonable control, theft or damage to guests' personal property, or the actions of third parties.
Guests assume all risk associated with outdoor activities on and around the property, including use of fire pits, hiking, and interaction with wildlife. Sojourn Lodging recommends that all guests carry appropriate personal liability and travel insurance.
Sojourn Lodging's total liability to any Guest for any claim arising from a reservation shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Guest for that reservation.
Sojourn Lodging collects personal information solely for the purpose of processing reservations and communicating with guests. We do not sell or rent guest information to third parties. Payment information is handled securely through our booking partner, Cloudbeds.
Sojourn Lodging reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising from a stay at Sojourn Lodging shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sevier County, Tennessee.
