Family Reunion Lodging in the Smoky Mountains
37 private tiny homes on 11 walkable acres — for 120+ guests
Finding accommodations for a large family reunion can be challenging, especially when trying to balance privacy with the ability to spend time together. Sojourn Lodging offers a different approach than a traditional large cabin or hotel — providing 37 private tiny homes accommodating more than 120 overnight guests across an 11-acre walkable village.
Each family or household has its own private accommodation while remaining just a short walk from the rest of the group. This layout allows guests to gather throughout the day while still having a private space to relax at the end of the evening.
Cooking & Dining
Meals are often one of the highlights of a family reunion. Each tiny home includes a private kitchenette equipped for preparing breakfast, snacks, and light meals.
For larger gatherings, the Cookout Zone includes community grilling stations where families can prepare meals together. The nearby Observation Deck provides a partially covered outdoor dining area with ample seating, mountain views, and electrical access for warming trays or serving equipment.
The Observation Deck is also one of the most popular locations for family photos and celebrations.
Shared Gathering Spaces
Sunset Point
Multiple community firepits with panoramic west-facing views of the Smoky Mountains — a popular place for families to gather in the evenings.
Welcome Center
Indoor seating and complimentary coffee for a comfortable place to meet regardless of the weather. Also available to rent for group dinners and celebrations.
Gathering Spot
A pickleball court, lawn games, gazebos, and open green space suitable for guests of all ages.
Walking Paths
Scenic paths throughout the property make it easy to visit other family members — and perfect for walking dogs — without needing to drive.
Convenient Access to Family-Friendly Attractions
Sojourn Lodging is located in Sevierville with convenient access to many of the area's most popular attractions. The property's location also provides access to alternative routes that help avoid congestion along the Parkway.
Accessibility & Travel
Unlike many mountain cabin communities, Sojourn Lodging is easily accessible from Newport Highway and does not require driving on steep, winding mountain roads — making travel easier for guests arriving from out of state or older family members.
The property is pet-friendly, allowing many families to include their dogs as part of the reunion.
While Sojourn does not offer ADA-compliant tiny homes, several units feature main-level beds that may be better for guests with limited mobility. Contact our team for assistance.
Parking
The property includes more than 40 on-site parking spaces, with at least one designated parking space for each tiny home and additional overflow parking available near the Welcome Center.
Some units can accommodate a second vehicle if needed. Please note that the property is not designed to accommodate large trailers or oversized RVs.
